Coaches

David Cooper
David CooperDavid has more than 10 years of coaching and instructing experience. He has had a hand in training some of the most elite players who have gone to play for the NBA, NBA D-League and overseas. He spent two years under the tutelage of NBA Champion Head Coach Jaren Jackson. In addition to coaching he had a stellar college career at James Madison University and Southern New Hampshire University. He has played professionally in Puerto Rico, Singapore, Canada, and the United States.

Aaron Spears

A native of Chicago, Spears played in two of the best NCAA conferences in the U.S., at the University of Illinois and St. John’s University. Basketball has taken him all over the globe as he has played for Portugal, Jordan, and Sweden just to name a few. He earned a spot on the Chicago Bulls mini camp roster NBA D-League.

Daryll “Showtime” Hill

Daryll Hill, an extraordinary basketball player who graduated St. John’s University with a 4 year degree in business and sports management. “The heart and soul of the team” scored over 1,000 points in his starting career. MVP of the Holiday Festival in Madison Square Garden, made the All Big-East team, nominating and leading the big east in scoring averaging 20.7 points per game.

Tai Chau
Tai Chau
Tai is a certified level 2 NCCP coach. He has coached competitive basketball for the past ten years for youth aged 9-19. Alongside being the director of Etobicoke Basketball U10-U14, he is passionate about using basketball to help players with mental development and decision making on and off the court.  He is also one of the co-founder of Bishop Elite Academy.

Edson Jones
Edson Jones
Former Niagara College standout, Jones earned multiple accolades during his collegiate career including; 2 MVPs, Rookie of the Year, and Athlete of Distinction awards. He spent over five year playing professionally in Germany, where he averaged double figure scoring throughout his entire stint.
Jahmal McQueen

Former Sheridan Bruins standout, Jahmal had been OCAA men’s basketball and overall male athlete of the week before, named OnPoint performaner of the game during his NBL tribute. He’s been with Windsor Express, Saint John Reptide in the NBL Canada league, played in China as well.
